ENERGY DESIGN HUB Symposium

2018年6月27、28日に第一回ENERGY DESIGN HUB Symposiumが東京で開催されました。国内外から様々な分野の専門家をお迎えし、トークを交えてそれぞれが考えるENERGYの可能性と未来についてディスカッションしました。昆虫食の分野では、タイのコンケン大学昆虫学教授のユパ・ハンブンソーンさんと、昆虫ソムリエの佐伯真二郎さんをお招きしました。オオニシタクヤ研究室からはコオロギの食用生産用飼育器を開発している大井裕貴くんが登壇しました。

イベント要旨：エネルギーをデザインすることで社会は変わると私たちは確信しています。なぜならば、世界で頻発している多くの重要課題はエネルギーと密接に関係しているからです。私たちが提唱する「エネルギーデザイン」は、発電や省エネ、エコという既成概念に制限されません。むしろ、概念を超えた視点からエネルギーをデザインすることが必要な時代だと考えています。このシンポジウムではプロダクトから建築、食糧、宇宙開発まで様々な分野の専門家をお招きし、各分野での取り組みや社会的位置付けなどを共有し、エネルギーとの関連性を見出し、異分野交流とその協働の可能性を探ることからクリエイティブに未来の新しいビジョンを描くことを目指します。

Event Summary：We are convinced that designing energy will change society. This is because many important issues which occur in the world frequently are closely related to energy.The “ENERGY DESIGN” advocated by us is not limited to the existing concept of power generation, energy saving, and ecology. Instead, We believe that it is time to design energy from a different perspective.This symposium is to invite experts from various fields including from products to building, food, and space development, share achievements and social positioning in each field, and find relevance toward energy.Through interaction and exploring the possibility of collaboration, we aim to connect a new vision of future with creation.
