Takuya Onishi, Architect, educator and energy designer who graduated Musashino Art University and Architectural Association School of Architecture with AADiploma Honor in 2000, and also received Presidents Medal from RIBA(Royal Institute of British Architects) in the same year. He had been practicing in light-weight and extreme architecture immediately after the graduation, and recently developing the design area into energy. He is former instructor at King Mongkut’ s University and Chulalongkorn University in Thailand from 2004 ‒ 2014. He is now co-founder of ENERGY MEET Co.,Ltd. and Associate Professor at Keio University SFC.

1994年武蔵野美術大学工芸工業デザイン学科卒業後、Architectural Association School of Architecture（英）に留学。2000年同校首席で卒業、英国王立建築家協会よりプレジデンツメダル・修士課程最優秀賞受賞。2001年軽量・極限建築のデザインに特化しLAUNCHPAD05を立上げ、タイに移住。キングモンクット工科大学、チュラロンコーン大学で講師やデザイン・ディレクターを務める。2012年ENERGY MEETを蘆田暢人と共同設立。2014年慶應義塾大学准教授に就任、オオニシタクヤ研究室を立上げエネルギーデザインの研究を進めている。
